CGN Esports Reveals Valorant Lineup

CGN Esports is proud to announce the players who will be representing our organization in VALORANT!

Valentin “bishop” Canepa
Anton “amp” Schönberg 
Mathias “SEIDER” Seider
Claes “Malfoy” Søgaard 
Tristan “Dawn” Bornet

Our roster of players was formed by Sebe+ and bishop, two seasoned FPS veterans. Sebe+ recently joined CGN Esports to lead our Valorant division, as Head of Valorant. Bishop gained experience as an ingame leader in the Mountain Dew League, one of CSGO’s most competitive leagues worldwide.

I feel really excited about this journey that has begun, endeavouring into a new game, a new title with new possibilities is in itself very exciting, but finding a stable home and stable teammates is always going to give you that extra good feeling.
I look forward to the things we can achieve together in this new chapter! 

Sebastian “Sebe+'' Kruft on his new position at CGN Esports:

CGN has had a lot of success in other titles, so of course the expectations are high. But I feel very fortunate to be given this chance to form a team together with Bishop, with players that we believe in. We have five hungry players full of potential and I will do everything to fulfil their expectations and to support them, so that they may shine on the server.

Establishing our Valorant lineup took several months of scouting and researching players. We want our players to fully represent CGN Esports’ identity and passion for professional competition. With our current roster, we believe that our Valorant team has the potential to establish itself amongst Europe’s best.

Even though our lineup is at the beginning and the majority of our players are still very young, they have already shown glimpses of their enormous potential. 

They have been able to keep up with the pace of competitive Valorant and while they still have many things to work on, they have showed great promise against some of Europe’s best teams.

Currently, our players are fully preparing for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour 2021. With our team on the grind and the players gradually adjusting to each other, we cannot wait to see CGN Esports being represented at the top of a new and booming esports title.

About VALORANT

VALORANT is a fast-paced competitive & tactical first person shooter, involving two teams of 5 players each. The first team that manages to win 13 in-game rounds, wins. This means that a game of Valorant can take up to 25 rounds. Players can choose their unique in-game characters, which are called agents, at the start of the game and buy different weapons at the start of each round. When a player dies, they will not respawn until the next round starts. This makes VALORANT a game in which even the smallest decision counts: good reaction times, aiming skills and knowledge are all key elements required to master VALORANT on a competitive level.
